Follow Friday (43)

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read

**Please take a moment to take my five question survey at the top of the blog!**

This week's question:

What New Years blogging or writing resolutions have you placed for yourself?

Blogging Goals for 2013:
  • Post more opinion pieces, discussion posts, and read-a-longs. I really want to have more interaction with my followers, I think that's how you move your blog from a normal blog to a BIG blog (i.e. Parajunkee, Vampire Book Club, Bookish, etc.)
  • Read more books in my TBR pile. I spent more of 2012 reading review books than anything else, and I'd like more of a balance this year. I've got A TON of great adult and YA books on my shelf and on my Kindle and my goal is to finally read those. I also want to read more of the series I keep saying I want to check out or catch up on. I'm doing a personal challenge that combines these two that you can read about HERE
  • Continue building friendships with other bloggers. You can never have too many blogging fiends.  :)

Writing Goals for 2013:
  •  Not a lot of people know this, but I've decided to play around with writing a novel this year. I've considered it for a while and I've got an idea that just won't leave my head so I've made the decision to finally do it (in fact, one of my Christmas presents from my boyfriend was two giant cork boards, multi colored oversized sticky notes, and tons of push pins = author plot board).

Are any of my goals similar to your?
What goals do you have for blogging and/or writing this year?

P.S. I think of your blog as one of the BIG ones! I love this site! =D

  14. I have similar blogging goals. 2013 is the year of TBR for me. I'm cutting back on review requests and blog tour reads in favor of reading the books that I've purchased over the year (in some cases 2 years).

I am also working different kinds of post other than reviews in 2013. I think they do bring more interaction with readers.

Good luck on your writing goal.

  15. Great resolutions! All the best with those ;)
