Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. So here's this week's WOW pick:
I'm really sad that The Lunar Chronicles has wrapped up as a series but never fear! We are get to put off saying good-bye for a little longer! Marissa Meyer has a short story collection set in that world coming out this year! I've actually read the first three stories in this collection since they were published as individual ebooks. I really enjoyed them so I'm excited to read the others! Plus one of them is an epilogue for the series! Out of all the new ones, I think I'm excited for that one the most of all! :)
Stars Above

The enchantment continues....
The universe of the Lunar Chronicles holds stories—and secrets—that are wondrous, vicious, and romantic. How did Cinder first arrive in New Beijing? How did the brooding soldier Wolf transform from young man to killer? When did Princess Winter and the palace guard Jacin realize their destinies?
With nine stories—five of which have never before been published—and an exclusive never-before-seen excerpt from Marissa Meyer’s upcoming novel, Heartless, about the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, Stars Above is essential for fans of the bestselling and beloved Lunar Chronicles.
