We Love Lists: Books We'd Buy This Minute If We Could

I don't know about you but I love watching people's Instastories. Recently, I've seen this topic coming up over and over again and I want to do it too! So I'm doing a list post today! What is the topic, you ask? It's all about the books you'd buy this minute if you didn't have to worry about money or the size of your TBR. So basically this whole post is basically my current book shopping list that I don't have pre-ordered.

1. In the Vanisher's Palace by Aliette de Bodard
One sentence sold this book to me and it was "f/f Beauty and the Beast retelling with dragons". How could I not want this book after hearing a sentence like that? I need all the queer and genderbent fairy tale retellings in my life like yesterday.

2. This is Kind of an Epic Love Story by Kheryn Callender
I'm always up for a good LGBTQ+ love story with a cynical character who doesn't believe in love or happy endings. And this is exactly what this book promises to deliver! Plus, I've heard nothing but good things about this book from early reviewers! Don't be surprised if I end up hauling this book at the end of this month.

3. Josh and Hazel's Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren
I've only read Autoboyography by Christina Lauren and I've been meaning to read one of their adult books ever since I finished it. So after reading the synopses of all their books, I'm pretty sure that this book is going to be my inaugural Christina Lauren adult book. It sounds so cute and relatable and I'm a total sucker for the Best Friends to Lovers trope! I can't wait to pick this up soon!

Check out Gretl's review of Josh and Hazel.

4. Ogre Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine
OMG! I just found out that they just released an Ella Enchanted prequel and I need it in my life! Ella Enchanted was one of my favorite books growing up and I read my paperback copy to literal pieces. I can't wait to get my hands on this book and revisit this world. I foresee an Ella Enchanted reread in my near future.

5. To Catch A Rogue by Bec McMaster
Okay. One, this isn't out till next week. And two, I haven't even read the first book of this spin-off series. But I NEED this book! I've wanted a Charlie and Lark book since I read the original London Steampunk series. I'll just have to binge read the first three books this week, right?

Watch for our stop on the To Catch a Rogue blog tour later this week!

What book(s) would you buy right now if you could?
