Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. Here's this week's WOW pick:
It was only a few months ago that Faith Hunter released the long-awaited Blood of the Earth, book one of her Soulwood series. But it was one of my favorites of the year so I'm happy not to be quite so long awaiting the sequel.
I'm a big fan of paranormal procedurals in general and Psy-LED in particular so this series checks all my boxes. It also features some really interesting and original magic. I loved seeing these characters that were introduced in the Jane Yellowrock series from a different perspective. And I really loved the supporting cast who make up the rest of the Psy-LED team.
If you haven't picked up Blood of the Earth yet, you have a few weeks before Curse on the Land comes out. Go get it now!
