Waiting on Wednesday (53)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. We hadn't done Waiting on Wednesday since early last year, but we recently decided it's about time to bring it back.  So here's this week's WOW pick:

I just recently finished binge reading the first six books of Donna Grant's Dark Kings series. I absolutely adored the Dark Sword/Dark Warriors series that this one is a spin-off of. And just like all of Donna Grant's books I read before this, this series was some serious book crack. I was hesitant to start this series because I wasn't ready to admit that I missed all of the Warriors and druids from MacLeod Castle. I shouldn't have been worried! I marathoned all six book over the course of a week. I got completely sucked into the story.

Now I'm all caught up and I need to know what happens next! I'm so grateful that I don't have to wait very long to get my hands on the next book. I'm also very grateful that Donna Grant is such a prolific writer and the next two or three books will be available within six months of this book's release. I'm so excited to read Thorn's book! Bring on the book crack!
