TOP 5 CRAZY CHARACTERS THAT HAVEN'T BEEN WRITTEN YET

Crazy characters? My mind goes straight to the carnival and, to be more precise, the freak tent. If you've read Wicked as They Come, you'll know why. Read on to meet the freakiest freaks that ever freaked. Or, in one case, wheeked.

*

Step right up, love! Drop your coin in my palm, slip under the ropes, and view the Funhouse Five. Perhaps you've been in the freak show before, but you've never seen anything like the twisted creatures who wait just beyond the velvet curtain.

CALYPSO THE WERE-CAPYBARA
Werewolves? Bah. A dime a dozen. This lovely lady will transform before your very eyes into the world's largest rodent, and an aquatic one at that. Notice her webbed fingers, the downy brown hair, and the black button eyes. Is she making a wheek-wheek noise at you? My lucky fellow, you've caught her eye! Once she's done nibbling that lettuce and blinking rapidly, invite her to the beach for the freestroke race of your life.

LORENZO THE TWO-ASSED BOY
Let me guess. You've been into the tent of some two-bit shyster and expected to find a lad holding the bridles of two cantankerous donkeys? Not today. Lorenzo was born with two asses, and that's four cheeks and two cracks, if you're counting. When he was born, his father-- a noted tailor-- took one look at his son's posteriors and defenstrated himself. Lorenzo's mother sold her own hair to pay for the boy's trousers, and now Lorenzo earns his coppers by turning the other cheek. Come back after midnight to hear his "symphony".

NELLIE AND NORA THE LIVING DOLLS
They do look like dolls, don't they? The way they stand there, side by side, motionless, porcelain hands clasped, their flat black eyes staring down into your very soul? But I assure you that these pinafore-clad darlings are just as real as you are. No, Nora. Put the knife down. PUT IT DOWN, I SAID.

TESSA-MARIE AND THE TICK CIRCUS
Watch the whip there, Tessa-Marie! Step closer, folks, and look under the magnifying glass to see the fabulous creatures on parade. Ticks of all shapes and sizes will amaze you with their feats of strength, acrobatics, balance, and ability to suck a mouse dry in under a minute. From the tiniest of deer ticks to swollen monsters the size of grapes, you'll-- wait! Come back! You don't want to make Tessa-Marie cry, do you? Oh, wait. That's not a tear. It's a tick.

PIERRE LE PARC, ARACHNID-LAD
Poor Pierre. One day, while visiting the World's Fair, he accidentally walked through a mad scientist's experiment, and when he woke up the next morning, he had the jointed, hairy legs of a spider jutting from his abdomen. Pierre can't spin webs, climb, or see anything extra with those six unnecessary eyes. He mostly just uses them to sob as his arms twitch and raise welts along his cheeks while he attempts to catch and eat live flies. All he ever wanted to do was be a journalist, but he can't hold a pen or use a typewriter, now that his human arms have fallen off. It's not easy, being a spider boy.

Thank you, Delilah, for those terrifying unique new characters to add to my nightmares imagination!
